From October 3, 2020 (Saturday), to November 29 (Sunday) | Literature includes the culinary arts. Although there are not a lot of Japanese poems or stories involving ordinary food, the ones that do possess a special meaning. They are written not only to fill hunger but to evoke senses of the reader. In this exhibition, we will introduce numerous forms of food as depicted in classical Japanese literature from valuable archival materials. |
