This is a collection of materials related to the operation of the Japanese army in the Pacific War. This includes records of operations of the 2nd Army in New Guinea.
A collection of materials related to the 19th Army of IJA in the Islands North of Australia(“Gohoku” area). Includes diaries from the units and battle details.
A collection of materials related to military administration and operations in Borneo. In addition to detailed reports on battles of subordinates, diaries of stationed men, and war history data on the 37th Army, it also includes a monthly report on the management of Borneo POW camps and a survey of enemy production in Kuching and Sibu provinces.

An official document transferred from the Minister's Secretariat of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Documents created or acquired primarily by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry from 1944 to 1972. The documents pertain to Japan’s Export Control Law, Export-Import Transaction Law, Export Trade Control Order (including the Coordinating Committee for Multilateral Export Controls), Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Control Law, Compensation, Plant Export Promotion Measures Law, Trade Liberalization Policy, Export Insurance Law, the Unified Product Trademark Act and others.

The Economic Stabilization Board was established in 1946 as an agency responsible for planning and comprehensive adjustments to emergency measures for economic stability, and it was reorganized in 1952 as the Agency for Economic Investigation and Planning. Whereas the Economic Stabilization Board had a function centered on controlling policies, the Agency for Economic Investigation and Planning focused on a free economy-based economy in planning, coordinating and investigating economic policies. This collection of documents mainly contains those created or acquired by the Economic Stabilization Board or the Agency for Economic Investigation and Planning from 1946 to 1954.
These documents were created or acquired primarily by the Economic Planning Agency from 1955 to 1964. The Economic Planning Agency was established in 1955 after reorganization of the Agency for Economic Investigation and Planning. Its main activities were planning, drafting, and coordinating long-term economic plans; planning, drafting, and coordinating economic packages ranging from the comprehensive to ones that cover multiple government bureaus; analyzing and measuring total national resources; conducting economic surveys; and surveying and analyzing national income.
These are primarily documents created or acquired by the Economic Planning Agency from 1965 to 1974.
