Commentary	駅逓寮は1874年1月に大蔵省から内務省へと移管された。その業務は、信書の逓送・便箋・封筒の製造に関する事項などであった。1875年1月には、外国郵便・郵便為替、同年5月には貯金の業務を開始した。1877年1月に駅逓局へと改編された。
