Thank you for taking time to read our JACAR Newsletter. In this issue’s feature article, “Tracing Memories of the Battle of Imphal in Nagaland, Northeast India” we had the opportunity to speak with WATABE Haruna. Watabe has been conducting research long-term in northeastern India, where the Imphal Campaign took place. She shared insights into her fieldwork and its connection with JACAR documents. Through the interview, we were encouraged by seeing the detailed and far-reaching way our materials could be used. In future editions of our newsletter, we will strive to continue delivering all kinds of information related to our documents. We sincerely hope you will continue to read and find it valuable.
