JACAR Newsletter Number 45 Released (Month Day, Year)

JACAR Newsletter Number 45  is now available on this website.

In this edition of the JACAR Newsletter, Center Director-General HATANO Sumio profiles some of the post-Pacific War diplomatic records that JACAR has made available in digital-image format through a collaborative arrangement with the Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

　

The issue also spotlights other recent projects at JACAR. One is a video on the Pearl Harbor attack and Japanese immigrants in Hawaii, which we released on December 8 to coincide with the date the Pacific War started in 1941, Another is a major expansion of the Learning About Asian History platform, an effort that involved a significant addition of new content.
